# How to Complete a Task With Exception ?

## Complete tasks with exceptions directly from the task details page by providing the necessary exception details.

2. Within the Job, go to the stage that contains the task you are working on.    
3. Locate the specific task you need to complete and click on it to view the task details.

4. On the task details page, click on the 'Complete with Exception' button.    
5. In the prompted field, provide detailed information about the exception or reason you are unable to complete the task as initially expected.    
6. After entering the details about the exception, click on the 'Submit' button to finalize the task completion with an exception.
