How to Execute a Multi-Resource Selector with Approval Workflow
Follow these steps to select multiple resources with validations and enable approval when a resource fails validation.
- Log in to the system with your user credentials.
- Navigate to the job containing the multi-resource selector with validations.
- Open the relevant task where the multi-resource selector is located.
- Select a first resource that meets the validation criteria.
- Select a second resource that fails the validation criteria.
- Provide your reason in the popup prompt to proceed.
- Choose one or more approvers from the available dropdown list.
- Click on Next.
- Review the summary and click on Proceed.
- Enter your password and click on Verify.
- Attempt to complete the task
- Note the system will prevent completion.
- Log in as the designated approver.
- Open the Approvals section in your inbox.
- Select the task and click on View.
- Enter your remarks and click on Approve.
- Enter your password and click on Verify.
- Log back in as the original user.
- Return to the same job and task to verify the approval status.
- Click on Complete Task to finalize the process.
