How to Set Planned Variation on a Task with Resource Parameter Validation ?

Easily set a planned variation on a task that has a resource parameter with validations during job execution.

1. Ensure there is a published process available.  
    
2. Make sure the assignee has started the job execution.
     
3. Navigate to the task which is in a 'Not started' state.    
4. Click on the ellipsis (3 dots) menu above the timer view and select 'Parameter Variation'.
     
5. Click on 'Add Variation' and fill in the details including the Parameter, Parameter Type, Variation Type, Variation Name, Variation Number, and Description. Attach any reference file if applicable.    
   
6. Click on 'Next'.  
    
7. Update the variation parameters as required, changing conditions and error messages as applicable.  
    
8. Click on 'Create' to finalize the setting of a planned variation.
